Walk exterior of home to check for security and any weather damage
Upon entering home, check for any unusual smells, sounds, etc.
Ensure proper operation of air conditioner.  Change filter monthly depending on length of contract
Check any other major appliances for abnormal operation
Check circuit breaker box for any tripped breakers and investigate cause
Check for proper operation of smoke detectors
Inspect under bathroom and kitchen sinks for leaking
Run water to prevent traps from drying out
Make sure all windows are locked
Secure home before leaving
Check for any possible break-ins
